More killer tornadoes to unleash tomorrow: Up to 50million people across 19 states in the Midwest and South are on alert after weekend storms ripped through leaving trail of destruction and up to 32 dead

Another severe weather outbreak could unleash havoc tomorrow after at least 32 people were killed as tornadoes ripped through parts of the Midwest and South over the weekend. 

The extreme weather may affect some of the same areas that were hit by Friday's deadly tornadoes.

S​evere thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening from parts of Iowa, Illinois and Indiana southward to portions Missouri, Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and northeast Texas, according to The Weather Channel.

It appears that there will be a greater risk of severe weather in two corridors.

One corridor is from central Missouri into central and eastern Iowa, southwest Wisconsin and northwest Illinois.

There was severe damage in Little Rock, Arkansas. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders had already declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard where at least five people were killed

The other stretches from southern Missouri into much of Arkansas, southeast Oklahoma and far northeast Texas.

Destructive straight-line winds, large hail and tornadoes could all potentially arise. Some tornadoes could be of EF2+ intensity.

N​ight time tornadoes are also possible, according to The Weather Channel. 

T​he storm system could produce more severe weather as it pushes farther east on Wednesday, especially in parts of the eastern Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, including Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Buffalo.

D​amaging winds and tornadoes could also potentially pose a risk to these areas.

A​t least a few severe storms could also develop in parts of the South.

T​he powerful weather system will also produce heavy snow and blizzard conditions across the Northern Plains and upper Midwest. 

A strong, dynamic jet stream will be present from the Southwest to the Plains, providing strong winds there for thunderstorms.

At the surface, m​oisture will return to the Mississippi and Ohio valleys as the strong low pressure system pivots from the Rockies toward the Upper Midwest.

This is almost the exact same configuration as the one that brought dozens of tornadoes to the region on Friday, according to The Weather Channel.

Confirmed or suspected tornadoes in 11 states damaged homes and businesses, splintered trees and laid waste to neighborhoods on Friday night. It could take days to make a count of all the tornadoes.

Among the five dead in Indiana are Brett Kincaid, 53, and Wendy Kincaid, 47, from Rossville, Indiana, whose bodies were found at the McCormick's Creek State Park campground, where they had been camping, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. 

Thirteen deaths were reported in Tennessee, where an EF2 tornado shredded through multiple counties, according to the National Weather field office in Nashville. 

The dead also included at least nine in one Tennessee county and four in Illinois. Other deaths from the storms that hit Friday night into Saturday were reported in Alabama and Mississippi.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker on Sunday traveled to Belvidere to visit the Apollo Theatre, which partially collapsed as around 260 people were attending a heavy metal concert. A 50-year-old man was rescued from the rubble and later died.

The governor said 48 others were treated in hospitals, with five in critical condition. 

WTHR reported that Brett and Wendy Kincaid were killed in their camper Friday night when the storm hit McCormick's Creek State Park campground in Owen County.

Their bodies were located on Saturday, according to Indiana conservation officers, who said the storms devastated the area. They also noted that the campground, which remains closed, was particularly affected. 

Governor Pritzker planned to travel later to Crawford County, around 230 miles south of Chicago, where three people were killed and eight were injured as a tornado hit around New Hebron.

Tennessee, one of the hardest-hit states since the storms began on Friday, initially had seven weather-related deaths. The tally rose to 12 after police reported three new deaths on Sunday. They said two children and an adult were killed on Saturday when a tree fell on a house in Memphis

'We've had emergency crews digging people out of their basements because the house is collapsed on top of them, but luckily they had that safe space to go to,' Sheriff Bill Rutan said at a news conference.

That tornado was not far from where three people died in Indiana's Sullivan County, around 95 miles southwest of Indianapolis.

Several people were rescued overnight, with reports of as many as 12 people injured.

'I'm really, really shocked there isn´t more as far as human issues,' said Sullivan Mayor Clint Lamb, adding that recovery 'is going to be a very long process'. 

The National Weather Service confirmed on Sunday that a tornado was responsible for storm damage near Bridgeville, Delaware, where severe weather sparked warnings, damaged several homes and led to roads being closed. 

One person was found dead inside a house heavily damaged by the storm on Saturday night, Delaware State Police reported.

Earlier storms tore a path through the Arkansas capital, collapsing the roof of a packed concert venue in Illinois and leaving a trail of destruction throughout the region.

'That means that there is now assistance from the federal government to support the incredible efforts that are already underway from the state and the local communities,' FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell said in Little Rock, Arkansas, after visiting some of the worst affected areas.

The Tennessee tornado twisted trees, flattened homes and ripped walls from buildings.

'The whole house, you can feel it shaking,' said Janice Pieterick, whose doors and glass windows blew out when the tornado swept through Lewis County.

She added: 'We just all hunkered down.'

Tennessee officials warned that the same weather conditions from Friday night are expected to return Tuesday. 

The storms struck just hours after President Joe Biden visited Rolling Fork, Mississippi, where tornadoes last week destroyed parts of town.

In a statement on Sunday, Biden said: 'We are working closely with the state of Indiana and other impacted states as they assess damages, and stand ready to respond to any additional requests for Federal assistance.'
