Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said the United States Supreme Court has “lost legitimacy” in the wake of the court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which gave the power to regulate abortion back to the states. Warren also insisted that the court should be expanded in order to “get some confidence back in our court.”

On Sunday, Warren tweeted, “The Supreme Court has a legitimacy crisis. Six radical justices are imposing their extremist views on the entire country — against the will of the American people. Congress must protect our democracy from this rogue Court.”
