56% of likely American voters agree with 'Mean Tweets, World Peace' meme: Rasmussen

A 56% majority of voters in America agree with the statement, "With President Trump, we had mean tweets, but world peace," according to a new survey.  

In a recent telephone survey from Rasmussen Reports, a majority of Americans agree with the sentiment of a well-known tagline "Mean Tweets, World Peace" that is found online and plastered on pro-Trump t-shirt and other merchandise.  

The two questions asked in the survey were, "Do you agree or disagree with this statement: 'With President Trump, we had mean tweets, but world peace'?"

The survey was conducted over April 21-23 with 1,205 likely US voters. The margin of sampling errors was +/- 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.  

Over the course of Biden's tenure, war in Ukraine has broken out and the October 7 attacks on Israel led to more conflict in the region. Iran is the latest to get directly involved after Israel launched an airstrike on its embassy in Damascus. Iran has worked through funding their proxy groups such as Hamas and the Hezbollah to attack Israel leading up to the direct retaliation from the Jewish state. Biden released millions of dollars to Iran that had been frozen as part of sanctions. 

Particularly in the Middle East, Biden has struggled to portray a clear message, leading to dissatisfaction among Americans who are pro-Israel as well as pro-Palestinian. Recently when he responded to the many "Gaza Camp" protests happening around the country, he tried to play to both sides in the process.
