A financial coach has revealed how shifting your mindset in six different ways can lead you to become rich.
Sarah Schweisthal, founder of the app You Need a Budget, which helps to change your relationship with money, frequently shares money-savvy tips to her TikTok channel.
Most recently, the US-based budgeting expert detailed how driving a 'used car' and living 'below your means' are things that wealthy people do to help them stay rich.
In a clip posted to the video-sharing platform, Sarah told her over 589,000 followers how they can start raking in the cash by adapting these lifestyle changes.

The budgeting expert also told her over 589,000 followers that rich people spend their time focusing on ways to promote wealth
Captioning the video, 'Are you practicing these wealth building habits?' the money expert detailed the things that rich people do.
'If one of your goals in life is to become wealthy, there's kind of a mindset shift that needs to happen.
'So here are just a few ways that wealthy people think of behave differently,' she explained at the beginning of her video.
The first habit that rich people practice is living below their means.
Sarah explained that wealthy people 'consistently spend less than they earn.'
By saving the majority of their paycheck, wealthy people continue to rake in the cash.
And because they spend less then they earn, rich people don't go splashing their cash on every lavish item they see.
Sarah even noted that most wealthy people 'drive a used car.'
This is because they prioritize saving money over how wealthy they look to others.
'They believe financial independence is more important than appearance and status,' the money expert said.

Lastly, Sarah said that those in the upper class don't use consumer credit and always keep a budget
Those with loads of cash are also always thinking of new ways to increase the amount in their wallets.
Sarah noted that wealthy people frequently spend their time on things that will 'promote wealth.'
Because of this, the upper class make sure they invest in a good budgeting system to ensure they know exactly what their expenses are.
Lastly, the money expert said you should avoid using payment options like Afterpay.
'They also don't use consumer credit like Afterpay,' she said.
