The skyrocketing murder rate isn’t just your imagination. 12 large American cities have broken homicide records for 2021.
Coming in at the top of the dubious list is Philadelphia with a whopping 521 murders. This surpasses even New York City with 443 as of Dec. 5, and Los Angeles at 352 as of Nov. 27.
But all 12 of these cities has one common thread, they are all run by Democrats.
Even places that are not talked about often, like Rochester, New York, has broken a 30-year record for homicides this year.’
But Rochester comes in on the low end of the scale. Joining Rochester in the broken-record-murder-club is Toledo, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Austin, Texas; Louisville, Kentucky; St. Paul, Minnesota; Portland, Oregon; Tucson, Arizona; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
