An NAACP leader refused to acknowledge unborn babies as human beings who deserve civil rights in December when she described abortion as a “fundamental right.”

Though abortion kills more African Americans than any other cause, the NAACP has promoted it for years in contradiction to its civil rights work.

NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund president Sherrilyn Ifill reminded Americans of its pro-abortion stance when she criticized the Mississippi solicitor general for comparing abortion to racial segregation, according to the Daily Beast.
