World Traveler Kamala Warns Americans Might 'Incur Some Cost' in Already Increasing Energy Prices If Russia Invades Ukraine

Following a meeting with European allies and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris warned on Sunday that Americans could see a spike in the already increasing costs of energy if Russia invades Zelensky’s country.

“When America stands for principles, and all of the things that we hold dear, it requires sometimes for us to put ourselves out there in a way that maybe we will incur some cost. In this situation, that may relate to energy costs,” Harris said at a presser at the conclusion of the Munich, Germany, Security Conference, according to the Associated Press.

Earlier this month, President Biden expressed similar sentiments about energy prices in the event of a war in Ukraine.
