A corporate media outlet is getting absolutely roasted on social media for damage-control efforts on behalf of the Democrats by blaming economic woes on the Ukraine crisis rather than on the Biden administration’s massive federal spending spree and other domestic policy miscues.

In a tweet, liberal CBS News claimed, “The U.S. economy has been hit with increased gas prices, inflation, and supply-chain issues due to the Ukraine crisis.” [emphasis added]

In an article that CBS linked to, the news organization asserted, in part, that “gasoline prices, which have hit eight-year highs — could surge even further if the hostilities escalate or if U.S. lawmakers pass another round of sanctions” against Russia. “The economic impact could also move beyond the gas pump, Wall Street analysts warn.”
