Out of Both Ammunition and Credibility, Dems Midterm Strategy Is Simply to Gaslight America

President Joe Biden attacked conservatives on Wednesday while responding to a question about the recently leaked draft opinion by the U.S. Supreme Court, which indicates the court’s intentions to strike down the Roe v. Wade ruling that created the idea of a constitutional right to abortion in the United States.

Responding to a reporter about the draft decision, Biden said, “What are the next things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that has existed in American history.”

Despite Biden’s demagogic attempts to strawman and slander the court’s decision and the millions of concerned Americans who support it, the ruling will simply return the responsibilities of regulating abortion to the states, where they were before the radical 1973 Roe decision that effectively struck down democratically established laws across the country.

The reporter’s question was, “What’s the next step with abortion once this case gets settled?” When the president got to the question, he claimed that the case was about “a lot more than abortion.” Attempting to tie the draft to an irrelevant issue, Biden asked, “What happens if you have states change the law, saying that children who are LGBTQ can’t be in classrooms with other children? Is that legit under the way the decision’s written?”

The answer to Biden’s question is a simple “no.” Despite claiming to have read the draft decision, the president made this statement in direct contradiction to what Justice Alito actually wrote in the draft when he asserted that, “We emphasize that our decision concerns the constitutional right to abortion and no other right.”

And this is the left’s strategy this election year. They intend on kindling the enthusiasm they’ve lost throughout the term of this failed presidency by pretending this draft decision is something it’s not, pretending this economy is something it’s not, pretending the Democratic Party is something it’s not and pretending conservatives are something they’re not. The game here is for the midterm elections and justifying the radical policy of packing the court to bring the left’s destructive agenda to fruition in the last half of Biden’s term, and beyond.
