Clarence Thomas' Wife Says She's Eager to Meet with Jan. 6 Committee to 'Clear Up Misconceptions'

Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, wife to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, says she is eager to “clear up misconceptions” with the Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee, as the panel seeks her testimony.

Thomas made the statement Thursday as committee Chairman Bennie Thompson publicly stated members “at some point” might invite her to speak with them.

Thomas was at rally prior to the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the Capitol Building. However, the committee more recently appears to be focused on alleged emails between her and then-President Trump lawyer John Eastman, who was advising Trump on the results of the 2020 election that Trump lost.

“I can’t wait to clear up misconceptions,” Thomas told the Daily Caller. “I look forward to talking to them.”
