American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp is celebrating the deranged transgender “female” who is competing in swim meets and dominating the competition.

In the latest showing of why conservatives never seem to conserve anything, Schlapp, whose organization hosts the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), embraced transgender University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas.

“No matter what one thinks of Lia’s ability to swim with women her story deserves our compassion. It will be interesting to hear Lia’s pov in 30 years,” he wrote in the tweet.
