The White House is pushing back against the Court of Appeals decision over the weekend to freeze Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate for private business. Officials have gone as far as to say businesses should ignore the recent court ruling.
According to CNBC, during Monday’s White House briefing Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that: “People should not wait. They should continue to move forward and make sure they’re getting their workplace vaccinated.”On Saturday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily suspended the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s vaccine mandate.“Because the petitions give cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate, the Mandate is hereby stayed pending further action by this court,” the order read.
