President Joe Biden reportedly invoked Donald Trump’s name two dozen times during a 17-minute speech as he tried to boost the gubernatorial campaign of Terry McAuliffe on Wednesday evening and tarnish his Republican challenger.
Team Biden apparently thinks that bashing the Trump brand is an effective get-out-the-vote strategy for Democrats, which perhaps is ironic in that McAuliffe admitted earlier this month that Biden is unpopular in the Old Dominion state.
During the campaign event in Arlington, Biden said, in part, “I ran against Donald Trump. Terry is running against an acolyte of Donald Trump.”
