British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that Putin has crossed a red line into barbarism in its invasion of Ukraine.

The U.K. heaped more sanctions on key Russian businesses and personnel linked to the Russian president and the Kremlin on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters as he arrived for a NATO summit in Brussels on Thursday, Johnson said more sanctions were necessary.
