Donald Trump has broken his silence on the Kyle Rittenhouse case after the 18-year-old was found not guilty on all charges.

“Congratulations to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found INNOCENT [sic] of all charges,” the 45^th President of the United States said a statement. “It’s called being found NOT GUILTY–And by the way, if that’s not self defense, nothing is!”

Later, he issued another email to his supporters, this time as part of a fundraising campaign, again congratulating the teen.

“GREAT NEWS FOR KYLE RITTENHOUSE, who we knew was innocent all along,” he said.
