Dr. Oz Booed at Pennsylvania MAGA Rally when Trump Introduces Him

If attendees at the latest Save America rally are any indicator, former President Donald Trump’s stellar record this primary season will be put to the test in Pennsylvania as one endorsee’s reception was, at best, mixed.

During Friday’s rain-soaked event in Greensburg, PA, Trump stood firm to his endorsement of surgeon and television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz while trying to present the tight race for the Pennsylvania Republican Senate nomination as a head-to-head matchup against business David McCormick. However, attendees seemed less than receptive to the president’s favorable opinion of Oz.

“Right here in Pennsylvania,” Trump said of the returning to the prosperity America had known for prior to the disastrous policies of President Joe Biden, “that starts with nominating the man who has by far the best chance to win Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race this fall, my friend Dr. Mehmet Oz. He’s a great man, Dr. Oz.”

Despite repeated jeering from the crowd, Trump pressed on with his defense of Oz as he argued against McCormick, “Dr. Oz is running against the liberal Wall Street Republican named David McCormack who I’ve known.”

“But he’s taken a lot of horrible, unfair and untrue shots,” Trump stated alluding to Oz’s questionable positions on abortion, usage of Chinese manufacturing over American, and his refusal to renounce his dual citizenship with Turkey. “You know, they’re spending millions and millions. This is Wall Street. People have plenty of money. Plenty of money. They’re spending millions of dollars and treating them very unfairly.”
