Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk vowed to vote for Republican candidates in the midterm elections, a break from his record of “overwhelmingly” supporting Democratic candidates in the past.

Musk slammed Twitter’s “very far-Left bias” as contributing to his openness to the GOP, adding that he will support the party in the midterm elections, despite his uncertainty as to whether he’s ever backed a Republican candidate before.

“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats historically, overwhelmingly. Like, I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” Musk said during a virtual appearance on an episode of the All-In podcast on Monday. “Now, this election, I will.”
