The Biden administration is using Title 42 to prevent Venezuelan migrants from entering the U.S. to address what it caused over the last 21 months, former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf said Thursday.

He predicted that the administration will be sued over its use of Title 42, and he said that the “long-standing solution” to the border crisis is “to enforce border security and border security measures.”

“I think it’s certainly too little. Look, at the end of the day, what they’re trying to fix, what DHS is trying to address is something that they caused over the last 21 months. They’ve seen the numbers of Venezuelans increasing and they’ve done nothing, and the fact that more and more Venezuelans are approaching that border like 100 other nationalities, it’s because of the lax border policies of the administration,” he told Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo.”
