Giuliani Told He Is Target of Georgia Election Investigation

Rudy Giuliani has been informed he is a target of the criminal 2020 election investigation in Fulton County, Georgia, according to a report.Giuliani, who served as former President Donald Trump’s private attorney, is scheduled to testify later this week, a New York Times reporter added.

He has already been subpoenaed along with other members of Trump’s inner circle, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and lawyers John Eastman and Jenna Ellis, for information about efforts to challenge the 2020 election in Georgia.

A person being deemed a target in an investigation means that “whatever has been unearthed in this investigation suggests you may have committed a crime,” CBS News legal correspondent Paula Reid said when defining the term “target.”
