It is speculative at this stage as to whether the continuing conjecture about the country’s autocratic leader ultimately turns out to be accurate or is just part of a propaganda war as the Ukraine invasion still rages.

According to leaked emails that The Sun says it has reviewed that originated with a Russian intelligence source with proximity to the Kremlin, however, Putin’s health is allegedly dire, and he is in the grip of a regimen of pharmaceutical drugs.
