Go Get 'Em, Liz: Cheney Expands Target Beyond Trump, Says She Will Work to Keep GOP 'Election Deniers' out of Office

It’s apparently not enough to stop Trump: In another cringe interview, U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-Wyo.) says she plans to campaign against so-called Republican “election deniers” who support the former president.

In last Tuesday’s GOP primary for the at-large House seat, the only one in the state, Trump-endorsed challenger Harriet Hageman crushed Cheney in a massive landslide and is a lock to win the general election in the sold red state.

Potentially future MSNBC or CNN employee or “The View” panelist Cheney received less than 30 percent of the vote on August 16. The magnitude of the loss would have been even greater except that Wyoming is an open-primary state that allows crossover votes from Democrats.

After she leaves Congress, a dour Cheney told Karl that she “I’m gonna be very focused on working to ensure that we do everything we can not to elect election deniers. And I’m gonna work against those people; I’m going to work to support their opponents; I think it matters that much.”
