It should have been obvious that there was no limit to what sort of nonsense MSNBC’s Joy Reid could spout after she was able to keep her job while claiming that unknown hackers posted homophobic slurs on an old blog post of hers, but every so often, it’s worth reviewing what she’s telling her audience.

Thursday evening, Reid claimed that the GOP taught the United States what the word “inflation” means, implying that the only reason Americans are concerned with the rising cost of goods is due to conservative propaganda.

“The only people I ever heard use the word inflation are journalists and economists,” she said with a chuckle. “So, that is not part of the normal lexicon of the way people talk. So, it’s interesting that Republicans are doing something they don’t normally do — which is not use the common tongue, not use common English …”

Under President Joe Biden, America has experienced the worst inflation in decades. Basically, everything is expensive and it’s a big reason why Democrats are heading for a shellacking on Tuesday.
