House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, lauded President Joe Biden’s voter rights speech as “fabulous” even though some of her fellow Democrats thought he went a little too far.

“Do you think that the President may have gone a little bit too far in trying to sell this particular bill to the American people and trying to get votes to try to get this passed?” a reporter asked during Pelosi’s weekly press conference on Thursday.

“No, I stand with the President and I think it was wonderful and I stand with him in the fight for voting rights,” Pelosi responded.
