Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is blaming law enforcement for the rise of crime in Minneapolis after the implementation of “Defund the Police” policies following the Black Lives Matter terror uprising.
“What we must also recognize is that the reduction in policing currently in our city and the lawlessness that is happening is due to two things,” Omar said while appearing at a town hall event for constituents on Saturday.
Additionally, she claimed that “the police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and to provide the public safety they are owed to the citizens they serve.”
