Law enforcement is investigating former CNN senior producer Rick Saleeby for allegations of sexual misconduct against minors, according to Fox News.

Authorities have started a probe “into serious allegations involving potential juvenile victims,” the Fairfax County Police Department in Virginia confirmed, Fox News reported Thursday. Detectives from the Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Exploitation Squad are “leading this investigation” into Saleeby, a police spokesperson said in a statement provided to Fox News.

“While we will eventually be transparent about our findings, safeguarding the personal privacy and safety of victims and witnesses as well as maintaining the integrity of our criminal investigation are of paramount importance,” the police department said, according to Fox News.
