‘The Supreme Court Is Coming for Us Next’: Lori Lightfoot Delivers ‘Call to Arms’ to LGBT Community Over Supreme Court Abortion Draft
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot ratcheted up the hysteria among the Left triggered by the Supreme Court draft of an opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade with an overheated tweet claiming SCOTUS would target the LGBT community.
Lightfoot, a lesbian, claimed in late June 2021 that “about 99%” of the criticism she’s gotten over the skyrocketing crime rate was fomented by racism and sexism.
On Monday night, Lightfoot called for a “call to arms” over the Supreme Court draft, tweeting, “To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms.”

She immediately followed by adding, “We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!”

Two hours prior to those tweets, Lightfoot cried, “We will fight like hell to protect reproductive freedom for women here and across the country!”
