Day after FBI Raids, Trump-Endorsed Candidates Win Big in Primaries

The political rift widened even further in America on Tuesday as Trump-backed candidates won primaries for Republicans and radical progressives furthered their wins for Democrats in a race to the midterm elections.

Former President Trump retained his title as GOP kingmaker as a number of candidates he endorsed swept to victory on Tuesday.

In Wisconsin, Trump-backed businessman Tim Michels won the GOP gubernatorial primary, according to Fox News. Michels will now go on to run against Democratic Gov. Tony Evers in November.

Also in Wisconsin, Republican firebrand and Trump supporter Senator Ron Johnson easily won his primary with 84 percent of the vote according to Politico.

Trump endorsed Johnson in April of 2021, before he had even announced his intention to run, saying the senator “has no idea how popular he is. Run, Ron, run!”

Another notable win for Trump on Tuesday was the defeat of Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA). She was one of ten Republican House members who voted to impeach Trump. Herrera Beutler conceded her re-election bid on Tuesday as Trump-supported challenger Joe Kent took the helm according to Fox News.
